Mobile App to Request Meetings with Lobbyists

Role:

Concept exploration, user flows, UI for branding consistency, assets preparation for development

Problem:

• As part of their responsibilities, lobbyists have to dedicate a percentage of their time to meet with current and potential clients. Currently, it is hard to measure their availability, due to the lack of visibility in regard to their agenda.

• For lobbyists it is difficult to keep track of scheduled meetings and meeting requests during the Texas Legislative Session.

• It’s complicated for potential clients (for example, Governmental Affairs staff from corporations) to see which lobbyist is available to discuss bills. They depend on sending emails or making phone calls to schedule, which usually results in a lot of missing opportunities. 

• Stakeholders worry about time management between current and potential clients with lobbyists, leading to frustration and losing business.

Result: 

• Developed user flows for the main interactions, including:

  • Create a profile

  • Search their assigned lobbyist

  • Request a meeting

  • Cancel a meeting
